Landscaping Dayboro

Landscape design and construction in Dayboro.

Home base. Acreage, rural blocks and the D'Aguilar foothills.

Moreton Bay · 4521

What a Dayboro garden actually asks for

Dayboro is where Duncan is based, and it sets the tone for how he works. Blocks here are acreage more often than not, which changes the job in both directions: machine access is usually straightforward, and the distances involved mean a garden has to be designed as a series of resolved spaces rather than one continuous treatment.

The country falls away toward the North Pine River and rises into the D'Aguilar range, so level change is the normal condition rather than the exception. Retaining, terracing and cut-in steps do a lot of the structural work on Dayboro gardens, and natural stone suits the setting better than anything manufactured.

Rural blocks also bring exposure, stock fencing, dams, bore or tank water and long driveways into the conversation. Those are design inputs here, not afterthoughts.

Budget

Before you call

This is design-led landscape construction, not a mowing round. There is no list price, because no two gardens are the same job — but the process is built so you know the number before you commit.

01

Budget first

Tell Duncan what you are comfortable investing. It is the fastest route to a concept that is actually buildable, and it is why he asks before he draws.

02

Then a concept

A unique landscape concept sketched on paper, with costings and an approximate time frame in writing. You see the garden and the number together.

03

Then you decide

Build only if you are happy with the paper. The work can be staged — plenty of gardens start as one wall, one path or one planted bed.

Duncan Scott. The person who designs the garden is the person who builds it — not a salesperson, and not a subcontractor you have never met. He has been building gardens in south-east Queensland since 2000, and holds a Queensland builder licence for structural landscaping (1161156).
