Landscaping Cashmere

Landscape design and construction in Cashmere.

Leafy, elevated, bush-backed blocks where planting has to hold its own.

Moreton Bay · 4500

What a Cashmere garden actually asks for

Cashmere is leafy and elevated, and a lot of blocks back onto bush. That setting is the main design input: the garden has to sit comfortably against a treed backdrop rather than compete with it.

Practically, bush-backed blocks bring shade, root competition and a lot of leaf litter. Planting selection matters more here than in an open suburban yard, and lawns often want either the right variety for shade or an honest conversation about an alternative.

Elevation gives views on many Cashmere blocks, and framing one is a design decision worth making deliberately — screens, planting heights and where the seating goes all follow from it.

Budget

Before you call

This is design-led landscape construction, not a mowing round. There is no list price, because no two gardens are the same job — but the process is built so you know the number before you commit.

01

Budget first

Tell Duncan what you are comfortable investing. It is the fastest route to a concept that is actually buildable, and it is why he asks before he draws.

02

Then a concept

A unique landscape concept sketched on paper, with costings and an approximate time frame in writing. You see the garden and the number together.

03

Then you decide

Build only if you are happy with the paper. The work can be staged — plenty of gardens start as one wall, one path or one planted bed.

There is no list price, because no two gardens are the same job. After the on-site consultation you receive a concept with costings and an approximate time frame in writing, before you commit to anything. Tell Duncan the budget you are comfortable with and the concept is designed to it — and the work can be staged.

Duncan Scott. The person who designs the garden is the person who builds it — not a salesperson, and not a subcontractor you have never met. He has been building gardens in south-east Queensland since 2000, and holds a Queensland builder licence for structural landscaping (1161156).
