Based in Dayboro, working across Dayboro, Samford, Moreton Bay and across Brisbane’s inner north — Ashgrove, Grange, Nundah and surrounds. If you’re not sure whether you’re in range, call 0431 024 000 and ask.
There is no list price, because no two gardens are the same job. What you get instead is certainty: after the on-site consultation you receive a concept with costings and an approximate time frame in writing, before you commit to anything. Tell Duncan the budget you’re comfortable with and the concept is designed to it.
No. Plenty of jobs start as one feature wall, one path or one planted bed. A concept plan is useful precisely because it lets you build in stages without the second stage fighting the first.
A couple of hours on site going through your garden preferences, a material wish list and your budget. Stone samples and plant images are on hand so you can see and touch the options rather than imagine them.
A unique landscape concept sketched on paper, incorporating everything discussed, with costings and an approximate time frame for completion. It’s built for people who can’t easily visualise an idea from a description.
Duncan Scott. The person who designs the garden is the person who builds it — not a salesperson, and not a subcontractor you have never met. He has been building gardens in south-east Queensland since 2000.
Real turf laid over new under-turf soil looks and feels best, and with fully programmable irrigation it stays lush without you thinking about it. Synthetic makes sense for deep shade, tight courtyards, or if you genuinely never want to mow again. Both are available.
Yes — a lot of the work is exactly that. Retaining in stone or hardwood sleepers, cut-in steps, and paths that make a slope usable instead of wasted.
Yes, and it’s worth doing. Lighting is designed into stone walls, water features and planting from the start, so the garden is still worth looking at after dark.
Limestone, travertine, granite and bluestone, plus the ranges carried by the main stone yards. Samples form part of the design service so you choose from the real material.
It depends entirely on scope — a feature wall is days, a full demolish and rebuild is weeks. You get an approximate time frame in writing with the concept and costings, before you commit.
